Abstract:The eyes are the windows of the soul.From a person's eyes, we can see their likes, dislikes and attitude of the approval or disapproval of his heart.

The eyes are the window to the soul. If we want to express our emotion and attitude freely and exactly, we must use our eyes. When we talk with others, the communication of the expression of eye is an effective method in addition to language. In order to make listeners seriously, speakers will stare at listeners by their eyes. Therefore, the appropriate use of the expression of eye can produce a wonderful effect.
In most country, the expression of the eye is important, especially in romantic relationship. Even if at other occasions, a measured contract of eyes with the opposite sex also can give a strong shocking. University of Cambridge, a research center found that the contract of the expression of the eye had an immediate effect on human relationship. The researcherasked two groups of heterosexual volunteers had a random conversation for ten minutes. For a group of volunteers, eyes contracted with each other frequently. On the contrary, to another group of volunteers, eye contract was avoided. The result showed that those who got some information from eyes contract all thought that the other
side respected and liked them and those avoiding eyes contract were not.
The researchers also found that the effects of the expression of eye contact for men and women were different.If a woman got more eye attention, it is easy forher to produce intimate feelings to the owner of the eyes. But not all men had the same feeling. When men werelookedat for too long time, some men would become hostile;some men would have a feeling of being threatened. There are even some people would think whether they were seducing self, and would doubt whether they were homosexual.
In addition to expressing respect and goodwill, the expression of eye, hasanother important role. Frequent eye contact can leave a smart impression. Compared emotional person, profound ideas people can more quickly integrate the captured information from people's eyes, and they are good at going into people's hearts.They will not be anxiety and tension when they communicate through the expression of eye of others.
However, the expression of the eye is strictly regulated by culture in PC communication activities. If we don’t know it, we will be embarrassed in public communication.Now,I will introduce three recommendations to avoid it. To begin with, we can’t stare at people whose relationship with us is not general for a long time. If not, it will be considered a rude
behavior. It is also a worldwide accepted etiquette. However, in the negotiation and debate, we should do not easily look away until force the other to shift their attention. Then, when talking with strangers, we must look at others, but we can’t stare at others for a long time or for a short time. Last but not least, when the speaker said the wrong words and he was being cautious and shy, we should not immediately shift our attention or the expression of the eye. On the contrary, we can use the kind, gentle, understanding eyes to look at the other side continuously, or the speaker will mistakenly believe that you are arrogant, mocking and laughing at him.
