The film named The Family Man with a simple story and ordinary lines looked not that attractive. However, from my perspective, it was still a good film and well worth watching. The reason why I appreciated it was that it could cause us to think, to think about the definition of happiness, and what was really important for us. Yes, that was exactly its shining point.
In the film, after experiencing a what-if life, the hero, Jack found that life with love was
rather good though they were not rich. Therefore, when back to the real life, Jack tried to save his girlfriend and their love.
In fact, many people go too far and forget why they set out. At first, they mean to pursue happiness. But afterwards, they turn to chase fame and wealth. Besides, lots of people expect too much about life and sometimes the happiness they pursue is the happiness in others’ eyes, which makes them unhappy. Happiness itself is not that difficult to get. The most important important is that we should figure out what the happiness is for us. Then we just need keep to remember that when we are struggling. Kate in the what-if life was really a wise woman. She knew what she needed.
At last, it’s worth mentioning that the little girl in what-if life was so cute.
Part 4 What if......
What if Jack didn’t left his girlfriend 13 years ago? The film presented us with one possibility, that is, they had two children and lived a simple but happy life. However, life was
difficult to predict, which is exactly the seductions of life. Maybe they had bad jobs with quite low salary. They worked hard and was tired everyday, but the life was terrible. We all know that love is just some kind of spiritual handholds rather than material support. And there is an old saying that poor couples sorrow. Therefore, as time passed, maybe they can’t live with the poor situation and began to complain each other. At last, they even may divorce and go their separate ways. This is possible.
In fact, when I look back, I always think what if I choose other college, what if I choose my favorite major, what if I try to be extroverted, and so on. Later, I forbid myself to think about such things. In my opinion, what-if life means little to us. And we have no chance to experience the so-called what-if life. What we should do is that we must think twice before we make decisions when we are faced with significant problems. Once we choose one way or one solution, no matter how difficult it is, we should continue moving ahead optimistically if we can’t make up for the mistakes we made.. Besides, lots of people expect too much about life and sometimes the happiness they pursue is the happiness in others’ eyes, which makes them unhappy. Happiness itself is not that difficult to get. The most important important is that we should figure out what the happiness is for us. Then we just need keep to remember that when we are struggling. What if Jack didn’t left his girlfriend 13 years ago? The film presented us with one possibility, that is, they had two children and lived a simple but happy life. However, life was
difficult to predict, which is exactly the seductions of life. Maybe they had bad jobs with quite low salary. They worked hard and was tired everyday, but the life was terrible. We all know that love is just some kind of spiritual handholds rather than material support. And there is an old saying that poor couples sorrow. Therefore, as time passed, maybe they can’t live with the poor situation and began to complain each other. At last, they even may divorce and go their separate ways. This is possible.
In fact, when I look back, I always think what if I choose other college, what if I choose my favorite major, what if I try to be extroverted, and so on. Later, I forbid myself to think about such things. In my opinion, what-if life means little to us. And we have no chance to experience the so-called what-if life. What we should do is that we must think twice before we make decisions when we are faced with significant problems. Once we choose one way or one solution, no matter how difficult it is, we should continue moving ahead optimistically if we can’t make up for the mistakes we made.. Remember, live cautiously and optimistically. Besides, sometimes if we reduce the expectation of life, we may find that life is not bad.
